National Parks: Golden Access Pass Families of individuals who have a disabled person with them can get a Golden Access Pass. This enables the entire car to enjoy the National Park with their disabled family member at no cost.

Wish Organizations: There are many children's wish organizations who have granted vacations to special places for our children and their immediate families.

Getting Around Town

Handicapped placards for a disabled person/child. You can use placard in any car that carries the disabled person/child. some of you may already know of this information but if you do not or want to get one for your child, it is very easy. Call your Department of Motor Vehicles and ask them to send you the paper work for a handicapped placard forms. When you get the paper work fill out your portion and send it onto your child's primary doctor to fill out their part and they will then send it back to the D.M.V. Then in about 3-6 weeks the placard arrives. The placard will allow you to park in the handicapped parking spaces. You can also get them for different amount of time.
